Michael took over Bryngwyn Service Station in the late ’90s from his father, and now has over 25 years in the motor trade. In addition to his extensive experience, he holds a vast array of industry qualifications including:
Senior Technician
Roy is by far the most experienced member of our team, with over 43 years in the motor trade. He is an MOT tester – Class 4, 5 & 7 – and he had 18 years experience with a Nissan main dealer where he reached the qualification of Nissan high-tech (Master Technician equivalent). He is also IMI Level 2 hybrid/electric qualified. Roy has completed various IMI diagnostic courses during his time with us and also has an IMI air conditioning in-handling licence.
Workshop Manager
Stefan has over 25 years of multi-branded experience in all kinds of vehicle maintenance and repair, including heavy repair and diagnostic troubleshooting. He holds IMI Level 3 in electric/hybrid vehicle system repairs, various IMI diagnostic qualifications too. These include IMI DSG clutch and gearbox repair. He is also an MOT tester in Classes 4, 5 & 7 and is an IMI TechSafe technician too.
Technician
Kyle is a qualified level 3 motor vehicle technician, who has over 25 years experience as a mechanic, he has worked on multi-brand vehicles, including being a French manufacturer specialist for five years and VW specialist for four years, he will be attending our training programme next year. Kyle is also IMI Level 3 electric and hybrid qualified.
Front of House Team Leader
Jayne has been with us for 5 years now and has moved from being our Service advisor & Receptionist to our Front of House Team Leader. She has also completed IMI Customer Excellence courses and is currently scheduled to do further similar training. She previously had 20 years in customer service for a leading UK supermarket and is always happy to take your calls to our workshop with friendly professionalism.
Receptionist / Bookkeeper
Jayne is our Receptionist & Bookkeeper. She has been in this role in the motor trade for over 6 years and in this time has gained various IMI customer excellence qualifications. Jayne is always delighted to deal with queries of all kinds from our customers.
Receptionist
Holly is the newest member of our receptionist team and has previously had experience working for Home Bargains. Holly is a keen horse breeder and farm enthusiast.
She is quickly learning from our experienced receptionist team.
Vehicle Technician
Sam has over 10 years of dealer experience with VW where his journey started in the motor trade.
He has also worked on light aircraft for two years as well as at various other service stations. Sam is booked onto the Bosch diagnostic technician program with a view to becoming a master technician.
Apprentice
Ollie is our apprentice and is undertaking his motor vehicle qualification at college with the goal of achieving his NVQ level three.
As well as undertaking his college qualifications Ollie has completed courses in service and maintenance, four-wheel alignment, geometry and basic electrics and will be undertaking further courses this year.
In his spare time, Olly is a keen mountain biker and motocross enthusiast.
